I recently bought a Vargo Triad Titanium alcohol stove. This video compares it to my homemade Super Cat. I was very surprised that the Super Cat won the test hands down. Proof that you don’t always need to spend a ton of money to get good gear.

The Trangia Alcohol Stove gets a Titanium Upgrade by using the Vargo Titanium Hexagon Wood Stove as a wind screen and pot stand. We do a complete timed test boill with 2 cups of water in a Klean Kanteen 18oz Stainless Steel bottle.
