Vargo Triad & Super Cat Stove Comparison
I recently bought a Vargo Triad Titanium alcohol stove. This video compares it to my homemade Super Cat. I was very surprised that the Super Cat won the test hands down. Proof that you don’t always need to spend a ton of money to get good gear.

To help prime the vargo stove faster, try waving your hand near the stove like a fan. This will help the center flame transfer to the jets faster. Thus saving you fuel. Hope this helps

I did put the lid on the Super Cat after I cut away…you’ll notice that when I showed the boil time I was removing the lid. At any rate, the Vargo doesn’t perform well enough to justify the expense. YMMV.

No Lid on the Cat Stove, however it looks like you gave of on your videos!

in the test you did the super cat stove did not have a lid on it so it was not a fare test.
